Artificial Intelligence Notice — Sazón It

Version 1.1 — Effective as of July August 1, 2026

This Notice explains how Sazón It ("Kyno") uses artificial intelligence (AI), to give you transparency about which features are AI-generated, their limits, and how we handle your data. It supplements the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimers.

1. Which features use AI

  • AI Chef: you ask questions about a recipe (substitutions, dietary adaptations, scaling servings, techniques) and the AI generates a response.
  • "What are you cooking today?": you enter the ingredients you have and, if the catalog has no match, the AI proposes a recipe.

Both are Premium features and consume finite usage credits.

1.2 The catalog content (all users)

We want to be explicit, because it is not always obvious:

  • Recipe photos are AI-generated images. They are illustrations of the dish, not photographs of the actual preparation or of the result you will get. They help you recognize the dish; they are not a reference for how yours should look.
  • Recipe texts are written with AI assistance. Title, tagline, tip and step-by-step were written or rewritten with AI from reference recipes, then reviewed.
  • Some recipes were written entirely with AI, in particular traditional dishes that were not available in our sources.
  • Audio narrations are synthetic speech, generated by a text-to-speech system. It is not a person reading.
  • Nutrition values are mostly estimated automatically from ingredients and servings. See Disclaimers §3.

What this means for you: AI-generated content can contain errors, even when it sounds confident and precise. We review the catalog, but we do not guarantee that every fact, quantity, time or temperature is correct. The Disclaimers apply, especially those on food safety, allergens and nutrition.

1.3 Diet labels — read them carefully

Labels such as "Vegetarian", "Vegan", "Gluten-free" or "Sugar-free" are indicative and assigned automatically. They are not a certification, not an ingredient-by-ingredient check, and they do not account for cross-contamination or the specific brands you use.

If you have celiac disease, an allergy, an intolerance, or follow a strict diet for health or ethical reasons, check the full ingredient list and each product label yourself. Do not treat the app's label as sufficient.

2. Which provider and model we use

Responses are generated with Anthropic (Claude) models. The access key for the AI service lives only on our server; if it is not configured, the feature is disabled.

3. AI-generated content — warnings

  • Responses are automatically generated and may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your case (AI systems can "hallucinate," that is, invent data with a plausible appearance).
  • They are not professional advice (medical, nutritional, food safety, legal, or otherwise). Always verify before acting, especially in the case of allergies, intolerances, health conditions, pregnancy, or cooking raw foods. See Disclaimers.
  • The AI does not make decisions for you nor produce automatic legal effects: they are suggestions that you evaluate and apply at your own discretion and responsibility.

4. What data is sent to the AI and how we handle it

  • To respond, we send the following to the AI provider: the recipe text (title, ingredients, steps) and your query in free text. Also the language, so as to respond in your language.
  • You must not input sensitive personal data or third-party data in queries.
  • We use Anthropic's commercial API. Under its terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models. See the Privacy Policy §4.
  • We apply usage limits (credits and rate limits) to prevent abuse.

5. Responsible use

By using the AI features you accept the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not use them to generate unlawful or harmful content, manipulate the model, or make critical health or safety decisions without professional verification.

6. Human oversight and improvements

We design the features to give brief, practical responses, with instructions that avoid dangerous or medical claims. Even so, the AI can make mistakes. If a response seems incorrect or problematic to you, report it to contact@kynodevs.com; we use that feedback to improve the instructions and the experience.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee continuous availability of the AI features: they may fail, change, or be discontinued. If a query fails due to an error on our part, we endeavor to refund the credit consumed.

8. Changes

We may update this Notice; we will publish the version in force together with its date.
