Disclaimers — Sazón It

Version 1.1 — Effective as of July August 1, 2026

These disclaimers form part of the Terms and Conditions of Sazón It ("Kyno") and apply to all content and features of the Service. Read this carefully: your health may depend on it.

1. General disclaimer

The information in the Service (recipes, texts, images, nutritional values, tips, and AI responses) is offered for informational and entertainment purposes, "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the content at your own risk.

2. Health, nutrition, and diets — NOT medical advice

  • The content does not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice and does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional, physician, nutritionist, or licensed dietitian.
  • Before changing your diet —especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or cook for children, older adults, or immunocompromised persons— consult a professional.
  • Do not use the Service to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.

3. Nutritional values — estimated

  • A large part of the nutritional values (calories, macronutrients, micronutrients) are estimates calculated from the ingredients and quantities; they are not laboratory measurements. Others come from third-party sources.
  • The actual values may vary significantly depending on brands, serving sizes, substitutions, cooking methods, and losses.
  • Do not rely on these values for strict medical or dietary needs (for example, carbohydrate counting in diabetes, sodium in hypertension, phenylalanine, etc.). Verify with official sources and with a professional.

4. Allergens and intolerances

  • The ingredient lists may be incomplete or contain errors, and do not exhaustively identify the allergens (gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, egg, soy, shellfish, sesame, etc.) or the risk of cross-contamination.
  • If you or someone you cook for has allergies or intolerances, verify each ingredient and its label and consult a professional. Kyno is not responsible for adverse reactions.

4 bis. Diet labels ("Vegetarian", "Gluten-free", etc.) — indicative only

  • The diet labels shown on recipes —Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Sugar-free, High fiber, Balanced— and the filters that use them are indicative, assigned automatically, and do not constitute certification.
  • They do not imply ingredient-by-ingredient verification, and they do not account for cross-contamination, brands, formulations or traces in the specific products you use.
  • If you have celiac disease, an allergy, an intolerance, or follow a strict diet for health, religious or ethical reasons: check the full ingredient list and each product label yourself before cooking or eating. Do not rely on the app's label alone.

5. Food safety and preparation

  • Follow good hygiene and food-safety practices: safe internal cooking temperatures, handling of raw meats/fish/eggs, refrigeration, expiration dates, and cleaning.
  • Recipes may require knives, fire, electricity, hot oil, or other hazards. Cook with caution; you are responsible for your safety and that of others. Supervise minors.
  • Dishes with raw or lightly cooked ingredients. The catalog includes preparations eaten raw or only cured —ceviches and citrus-marinated fish, rare meats, raw or lightly cooked egg in desserts, homemade mayonnaise and sauces. Lime juice does not cook or sterilize fish: it only cures it. These carry a risk of foodborne illness (salmonella, listeria, anisakis, among others). They are not advised for pregnant people, young children, older adults or immunocompromised people. If you make them anyway, use sushi-grade fish (previously frozen per your country's rules) and pasteurized egg, and keep the cold chain.

6. Artificial intelligence (AI Chef and suggestions)

  • AI responses are generated automatically with Anthropic (Claude) models and may be incorrect, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate for your case ("hallucinations"). They are not professional advice.
  • Always verify the information —especially substitutions, dietary adaptations (gluten-free, vegan, lactose-free, etc.), times, and temperatures— before acting.
  • Do not enter sensitive or third-party data in the queries. The AI must not be used for medical, health, or safety decisions.

7. Food venues / delivery ("I'm not cooking")

The venue information (name, ratings, hours, prices, distance, photos) comes from third parties (Google) and may be out of date or inaccurate. Displaying it does not imply a recommendation or guarantee by Kyno. Any order or transaction is between you and the venue; Kyno is not a party nor is it liable for its quality, hygiene, or compliance.

8. Advertising and third-party links

Advertisements and links to third-party sites do not imply endorsement by Kyno. We do not control or are liable for their content, products, services, or privacy practices. Review them at your discretion.

9. Availability and accuracy

We strive to ensure that the content is correct and available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, complete, or always accessible. We may correct, change, or withdraw content at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kyno shall not be liable for damages arising from the use or the inability to use the Service or its content, including —without limitation— allergic reactions, health problems, poisoning, injuries, or economic losses. This limitation applies together with the liability section of the Terms and Conditions. None of this limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law (for example, for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or non-waivable consumer rights).
